Why back off the regulators when done? I always leave mine set.

you missed a step, Crack open either valve on the cylinder and close it and look at the gauges t see if there is any leaks. if it bleeds off find your leak before proceeding!

I respect what you’re doing, trying to educate people on the proper way of doing that especially the newer generation, but as somebody has worked with these things for a long long time, we don’t do none of that stuff. We just open them and go.

When starting up, A before O or up you go.
When shutting off, O before A when you put it away.

First off the last thing you do is the first thing you check. You make sure adjustment screws are loose. I don’t care what gas you turned on however, when you’re setting your oxygen pressure both bells should be open. Not only is agreed to give you accurate pressure it is also going to bleed the line and create of any mixed gases. Most importantly, there is not one Smith Tip that says you’re settling.

you forgot to tell the viewer when you’re just starting the torch how to clear the smoke you do that by opening a little bit of oxygen, you didn’t say that

I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but I haven’t started training yet so if it is, let’s just roll right past that. When you get back to the acetylene valve, it looked like you turned it to the right is it reverse threaded or is that just the way that it shows open versus closed towards the left or does TikTok show its videos backwards? Again, sorry for the silly question.

A lot of businesses do not want that soot in the air. So you start with a little bit of air on
