I miss the big blue community mailboxes. You could just drop your mail in them without having to go to the post office to mail cards and letters. It was a big convenience.

I do miss seeing kids out playing, but it’s not safe for them to do that anymore so parents don’t allow it. They’re all inside playing on their video games. It’s a shame! I miss kids walking to school. I used to. Now everyone has to drive their kids to and from school or are they going on the school bus and parents have to pick them up from the bus. I hated riding the bus so I would always walk. I was thinking about that the other day. I miss cracker jacks with a little toy inside. I don’t have health problems right now other than dental dental is just like been played for my life. I’ve always had dental problems since I was little. I’m practicing avoidance right now which I know I need to go, but I don’t want to. I don’t like my dentist office and I want to find a new one, but that is a very hard thing to do on Medicare. They have all the Medicare mixed in with the Medicaid and some will take it and someone will not and it’s just a freaking mess. I’ve never been to sonic I don’t eat that kind of stuff. But to each his own, you’ve got to have something you enjoy.

Drive in movies! Loved drive in movie, miss them. Loved the Charlie Brown cartoons too! Miss hearing kids playing outside. Never see kids outside anymore. We never went in until it was dinner time in my day 🤷♀️. I miss shows like the Flying Nun, Happy Days stuff like that 😂😂. Love you 💗💕💗

I miss playing hide n seek with all the neighborhood kids on our street by the glow of the street lights in the summer time. I miss sitting on our front lawn with all the neighborhood kids telling ghost stories summer nights.

I miss gas station attendants where they filled your tank and check your oil. I miss the elevator attendants. I miss the good old fashion department stores and how they decorated for Christmas. I miss the fulabrush man coming to your house. And the Avon lady selling great makeup items.

I miss Friday nights with the kids. go to block buster each one picked out a movie then we ordered pizza and had popcorn with m&ms. it was the best Friday night! and no one was looking at their phones! imagine!!
