My daddy died when I was 8 and I was daddy’s girl. It just devastated me when he died. I don’t think I ever got over it and I’m 63 now. I can’t even remember what his voice sounded like.

I still honor my dads memory bc he did carry the weight of the family. He was the hardest working man I’ve ever known. He’s been gone 32 years now. But I’ll forever be grateful for what I saw in him, integrity!

Miss my Dad every day. The most gentle, kind and giving man. He loved his family, friends and had a huge heart for any one needing help. He found the good in everybody and even if they did him wrong he would still treat them with respect and would still give them a hard if needed. He didn't judge but took that opportunity to teach. We lived a hard life on a farm with a large family but we never felt poor growing up, so much love filled any gap. Have a lot of quiet conversations with him. 💔

thank you for this. it meant alot to me. if you still have your dad, call him or go see him. you never know when it will be your last. sunday will be 11 years since my dad went to heaven. I love you all.
