I thought He didn't care. But He was working out something far greater than I could imagine. He waited on purpose — so that God's glory would be revealed. I learned that Jesus is never late. He is always on time, even when it feels like He's four days late. 💎 The Word: Jesus is the resurrection and the life. What looks like the end to you may be just the setup for His greatest miracle. Trust His timing. 👤 Mary Magdalene at the Tomb — Before Jesus: Jesus had been crucified. We buried Him. It was over. The hope we had — dead. I went to the tomb early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, to anoint His body with spices. I couldn't sleep. I had to go. — The Encounter: The stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. I ran to get Peter and John. They came, saw the linen cloths, and went back home. But I stayed — weeping. I bent down to look into the tomb, and I saw two angels. 'Woman, why are you weeping?' they asked. 'They have taken away my Lord, and I don't know where they have laid Him.' I turned around — and there was a man standing there. I thought He was the gardener. — After Jesus: 'Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?' He asked. 'Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.' Then He said one word — 'Mary.' And I knew. It was Him! 'Rabboni!' I threw myself at His feet. He was alive! The resurrection was real! I went and told the disciples — 'I have seen the Lord!' 💎 The Word: When you're weeping at the tomb, when everything feels lost and dead — turn around. Jesus is there. He calls your name. And He is alive. 👤 The Centurion — Before Jesus: I am a Roman centurion — a man under authority, with soldiers under me. My servant was sick, dying, and I had no power to help him. I had heard about this Jesus, how He healed people. I was a Gentile, a soldier of the occupation — I had no right to ask a Jewish rabbi for anything. — The Encounter: But I sent some elders to Him, begging Him to come. But then I thought — no. This Man has authority. He doesn't need to come to my house. Just like I say 'go' and a man goes, 'come' and he comes — all He has to do is say the word. I told Him, 'I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.' — After Jesus: Jesus turned to the crowd and said, 'I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.' And my servant was healed that very hour. A Jewish rabbi praised a Roman soldier's faith! I learned that faith recognizes authority and trusts the power of a single word. 💎 The Word: You don't need Jesus to physically be in your situation. You just need His word.
