Learning place value was its own separate lesson if I’m not mistaken before you got to like the double digit math that way when you start learning double digit math you already know place values so why are we pushing two separate lessons into one?🤨😬 😂😂

We started homeschooling this year. My flabbers were gasted when my 9 year old started doing all that extra work. I was like girl wtf were they teaching you. Needless to say, we’ve had to do some review the last couple months before moving on 😭

My son is 12. I taught him to do math the old way and he refuses to do new math. And he is now so advanced that he is working on 9th grade stuff in the 7th grade. Old school math for the win
