That hack is for lettuce. Cabbage is tougher so you just used a knife to cut the core.

Yum! Such an event to make, but my family came over seas from the Ukraine, so, cabbage rolls I make! I have stopped using cabbage, though. Haha I buy sour cabbage heads to skip the whole blanching thing and then it’s sour cabbage rolls! (Sauerkraut cabbage rolls). Done in No Time, well, still a bit of time 🥰

i do an un roll version.... cut the cabane in big chunck and use minute rice....take 2 min to put all in crock pot and taste same or better
