there's a name for it, "lying by omission". and I stopped accusing him of being a liar. because of this argument, exactly. I started calling him a deceitful manipulator. that covered most of the b*******. also made a promise to myself that I will never be an investigator in my relationships again. and if they do not voluntarily provide information that is necessary for me to make informed decisions about my life, for my own best interests, then their intentions for me are not good and they must go away.
