As a momma, it is hard to remember that it is a phase and things happen and change. I used to get so sad my baby preferred his daddy. One day he just switched and he has gone back and forth a handful of times. We want to be wanted but also it is exhausting to be wanted all the time.

Kids always have changing preferences. My daughter and I were inseparable the first year, then she was all about her other mama. Then it was back to me and vice versa. When they hit the toddler years and can talk they can get a little mean about it though😅 I remember the first time my daughter was mad that I told her she wasn’t allowed to do something and could verbalize it, she said “you’re a bad mom”. I literally sobbed that night 😂 The next day she wanted to hang out with me all day and I was the best 🤦♀️🤷♀️
