Apostate Alexei :

The fact that you’re having a debate on if morality is objective or subjective in the first place proves that morality is subjective

Dean is going republican. He popped in another atheist live to debate this with JaW. Don't forget he cried for charlie kirk as well.

lyricisaiah244 :
morality is something we create based on our values and beliefs. Objective facts exist, but whether something is morally right or wrong is subjective because we decide how to interpret those facts.

Morality is relative, which means morality is subjective. You can easily pick a global conflict and see what is aggression to one person is resistance to another, while both feel morally justified in their view.

The original prankster :
If moral objectivity exists then nuance cannot exist and law and order would notchange no matter where you were on the planet. Morals in and of themselves belong only to the person who believes them which makes morals undoubtably subjective

baldy_voldy :
morality is subjective because it depends on subjects, if there were no subjects, no morality would exist.

There are no objective standards, and there shouldn't be. Why? Because human beings learn as they evolve, from recorded/known history until now, tomorrow, etc. humans INVENTED so-called "morality," which is mainly included in the gods/religions they invented/imagined. And these standards will change, eventually, as they always did.

moral intuitions are stance-dependent. morality itself, isn't.

This is the worst argument by born again atheist. We could use that evidence for moral objectivity where we say as people intellectually mature, they become better able to discern on facts about the world, like moral facts.

not a great argument. something could be objectively true whether or not one understands it. for example 2 + 2 is objectively for, and it was even before I understood math. eventually I matured and was able to understand it, but that doesn't make it subjective

He was trying to make it look like you were conflating objective truths with subjectivity, that wasn't your argument, morality is still subjective despite the existence of objective truths.

Bob From Accounting :
Morality is definitely subjective but that doesn’t mean it’s also not objectiv. For example random murder/Assault/rape is wrong both subjectively and objectively

Mr. Moose :
I always hit them with should people govern themselves? Yes is cannibalism wrong? Yes so why do we let uncontacted tribes do it? Aren’t they morally bound in their “objective” view

there are no morals independent of a mind
