@christiandailyusa: PRESIDENT TRUMP PRAYS WITH CATHOLIC ARCHBISHOPS AND BISHOPS IN OVAL OFFICE On October 22, 2026, Denver Archbishop James Golka and several other U.S. Catholic bishops gathered with President Trump in the Oval Office for a meeting organized by the White House Faith Office. The discussion covered religious freedom, school choice, religious visas, and life issues. At the end, the bishops surrounded the Resolute desk and prayed, with Archbishop Golka thanking God for the nation, the government, and the presidency, while asking the Holy Spirit to protect the country from evil. Moments like this remind us of the biblical call to pray for those in authority. “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” — 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for opportunities where leaders of Your Church lift up those in government. Grant wisdom, protection, and a heart for the sanctity of life to President Trump and our nation’s leaders. Surround our country with Your Spirit and keep us from evil. In Jesus’ name, Amen. #ChristianDaily
