🇺🇸 WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES — Two former senior FBI officials have been charged with allegedly making false statements to Congress about their involvement in investigations related to Hunter Biden. The U.S. Department of Justice announced on October 23, 2026, that Nikki Cole Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, surrendered to authorities after arrest warrants were issued. Both previously served in the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF), which worked to counter foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. election.
