It sounds like her Dad had to go into some sort of state facility and when that happens, Medicare demands every asset that person has besides $2000. You can only have $2000 in your bank account if you are in longterm state facility "paid for" by medicare. That's every state. Unless you put your money into an irrevocable trust, the state takes that money and every other asset that person has. But that's just corruption our whole government supports and perpatrates.. it has nothing to do with "the squad"..
