@witchlight.cottage: 🦄✨ THE LAST UNICORN (1982) 🌙 🎬 WAIT… DID YOU KNOW THIS?! 😱 🦄 FUN FACT #1: The animation was created with help from Topcraft, a Japanese studio whose artists would later help form Studio Ghibli! Yes, the same legendary studio behind My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away! 🌸 🎶 FUN FACT #2: The rock band America performed several songs for the soundtrack, including the unforgettable title song! The music was composed by Jimmy Webb. 🎸✨ 👀 FUN FACT #3: The original author, Peter S. Beagle, also wrote the screenplay! Unlike many book adaptations, the person who created the story helped bring it to the screen. 📖 🌊 NOW HERE’S THE QUESTION… The Red Bull drove the unicorns into the sea, where they remained trapped in the waves. 🌊🦄 Which scene from The Last Unicorn has stayed with you since childhood? ❤️ The terrifying Red Bull 🦋 The talking butterfly 🌊 The unicorns emerging from the ocean 💔 Lady Amalthea realizing what it means to be human 👇 And be honest… did this movie make you cry as a kid, or does it STILL make you cry today? #nostalgia #funfacts
