Wrong, unfortunately you might feel like it’s true, but it’s wrong

I never understood the school lunch thing. Make your kid a PB&J and an apple in a brown paper bag. Is that to hard or expensive?

Wait… I thought the top 1% of income earners pay roughly 40.4% to 40.5% of all federal individual income taxes

Incorrect, we live in a center right country. One simple reason, we are an older country --most lean a bit more conservative. ps. we are still a christian country, again -most lean conservative ==tips country Center right.

2 parties are imperative. If there are 5 parties a president could win an election with the support of only 21% of the voters.

You don’t see real differences between the two parties? They don’t have different foreign policy and immigration policy? Really? I will submit that they are both determined to spend us into catastrophic levels of debt, but this “they are both the same” thing is a surprisingly typical cynical view coming from you.

Liberal conservatism strongly pro-capitalist, free-market oriented.
Social liberalism accepts capitalism but wants regulation and a safety net.
Social democracy is most skeptical of capitalism among "liberal" traditions.

I don’t disagree…However, many people rely on stocks, bonds and mutual funds to power 401Ks and Pension funds for retirement. Those funds require consumption to exist.

I was with you until you said you want the state (which is doing very things you’ve brilliantly pointed out) to have more resources through taxation and that he same state will spend it on infrastructure or anything else which would be good for average people. We know exactly that this is not the case.
