Goated season 2, but imo i still like season 1 more due to the symbolism, depth, character build up, complexity, realism, motives, impact, main themes, journey & dialogue, intro and conclusion and depth because the way they showed a 17 year old boy who originally wanted to become a corpo slave with his mom doing everything in her power to make sure he gets a good future, to end up having that ruined by the death of her and becoming one of the strongest in such a short time, people think we enjoy this more because “sad ending” but no it’s not just the emotional impact it’s also about how the story built around david, how lucy trying to protect david ultimately ended up getting him killed and now she’s living with survivors guilt.

I feel like season 2 tried to do too much and I just really wasn’t immersed in the story or cared much about the many side characters. It was a decent season but not anywhere close to my expectations based on season 1
