@bloom.bloom.room: 🌿 Blue hour might just be my favorite time to spend in the greenhouse. If you’ve never heard of blue hour, it’s that beautiful period of twilight just before sunrise or shortly after sunset, when the sky takes on those soft, cool blue tones. It’s also one of my favorite times to photograph the Bloom Bloom Room because of the contrast between the blue sky outside and the warm lighting inside. Here’s a little lighting trick if you have a greenhouse, sunroom, or even a cozy corner with large windows: turn your interior lights on while there’s still some natural light outside. Don’t wait until it’s completely dark! I love using warm-toned pendant lights, chandeliers, and smaller accent lights rather than relying on one bright overhead fixture. The different light sources add depth, highlight the plants, and give the whole room a softer glow. For photos and videos, try shooting from outside looking through the windows. You’ll capture the warm interior against the cooler evening sky, and the windows practically frame the entire scene for you. And the best part? You don’t need fancy camera equipment. These are exactly the kinds of shots you can experiment with using your phone. 📱 A little greenery, some warm lighting, and perfect timing can make an ordinary evening look pretty magical. ✨ Have you ever tried photographing your home or garden during blue hour? ##greenhouse #PlantTok #homedecor #sunroom #bluehour
