YES i think everyone is the cast is too involved in social media and are being careful/sometimes playing into the hate to get people on their side (like last season when derek started making expressions towards carrie ann’s comments cuz he knew people would clip that and be on his side), i love all the cast but def i see so much internalized misogyny in the fandom w the way they hate on everything carrie ann does

The Judging was better because they remembered they had paddles 1-5 and gave 9s or 10s even if it was "too early". Also, I kinda feel CAI is hated more because in a way she had to take over Len's role as the harsh judge cuz it's obvious Derek wasn't gonna do it.

I missed when the judges actually judged and would stick to their opinions even when they were being booed. I missed the honest judging. Derek is so busy trying to be the cool likable judge that he doesn’t really judge at all.

i think its also because these days nobody is really bad at dancing besides maybe the older people. most people have some sort of dancing background, although i enjoy it, everyone is “good” from the start

I just hate that Carrie Anne was always the kindest and now people bash her endlessly. She normalized giving the celebrities hugs and holding space for them when the other 2 would rip people apart. Now when she has critique that, most of the time, is incredibly valid she gets SO much shit for it
