@gaijin251: Məhəmməd Əmin Rəsulzadə (1884–1955) was the founder of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR), a prominent statesman, politician, and the ideologue of the Azerbaijani national independence movement. His iconic phrase, "The flag once raised shall never fall!", became the ultimate symbol of the nation's struggle for freedom. Quick Biography • 1902: At just 17 years old, he founded the "Muslim Youth Organization", one of the first secret political groups to oppose Tsarist Russian rule. • 1913: Became the official leader of the Musavat Party, which heavily shaped Azerbaijani national identity. • May 28, 1918: As the Chairman of the Azerbaijani National Council, he proclaimed the independence of the ADR—the first democratic, secular republic in the Muslim world. • 1920: Following the Soviet invasion of Azerbaijan, he was arrested. Joseph Stalin personally secured his release and took him to Moscow, but Rəsulzadə fled the Soviet Union in 1922. • 1922–1955: Spent the rest of his life in exile (mainly in Turkey and Poland), leading the political struggle for Azerbaijan's independence and writing fundamental books like "Siyavush of Our Century". • March 6, 1955: Passed away in Ankara, Turkey, and was buried at the Cebeci Asri Cemetery. #məhəmmədəminrəsulzadə #azerbaijanhistory #edit #fyp #fashion
