These are some of the things I keep nearby to support sensory regulation and coping. As an inpatient mental health OT, I find these items really helpful: ✨ Scented lotion & essential oils: Calming scents for grounding and relaxation. ✨ Theraputty: Provides tactile input for grounding and emotional regulation. ✨ Ice packs: Great for TIPP skills and calming intense emotions. ✨ Ear plugs: Helps reduce sensory overload in noisy environments. ✨ Strong taste input: Can help bring attention back. #MentalHealthOT #SensoryRegulation #CopingSkills #OccupationalTherapy #MentalWellness

Love doesn’t always guarantee emotional compatibility. Someone can love you deeply and still struggle to meet you emotionally. That doesn’t always mean they don’t care. And it doesn’t automatically mean they’re the wrong person. Sometimes it means they don’t yet have the capacity for the kind of emotional attunement you’re longing for. Love is important. But healthy relationships also require curiosity, emotional responsiveness, repair after disconnection, and a willingness to understand each other’s inner world. Recognizing that difference can bring clarity instead of self-blame. #nervoussystem #attachment #somatichealing #relationships #NervousSystemHealing

🔥 For most of my life, I thought these were just random personality quirks. That I was... Too nice. “Too sensitive.” Too anxious. “Too needy.” Too accommodating. “…Too much.” I had no idea all of those things were actually connected and I really didn't know there was a name for the invisible set of rules I didn’t know I had been living by! The rules that taught me... ✨ Don't disappoint people. ✨ Don't make anyone mad. ✨ Don't need too much. ✨ Don't take up too much space. ✨ Keep everyone else comfortable first. Once I could finally see the pattern...I stopped asking: "What's wrong with me?" 😣 ...and started asking: "Who taught me that I had to live like this?" 🔥 That question changed my life because you can't heal a pattern you don't even know you're stuck in. Do you do this, too? Which slide gave you goosebumps? Which felt like a hug with a punch? 💛 😇 If this whole post felt like somebody has somehow been reading your mind…goodness, do I have something for you. My Good Girl Conditioning Workshop 🔥 It’s one of the most beloved Workshops from my Good Girl Rehab Membership, never available to non-members until now! I’ve got 4 videos that will explain your whole life — The invisible rules we’ve been living by without realizing it Where these invisible rules come from, and — most importantly — how to start changing them so you can be the bad bitch you were always meant to be who can say no without breaking a sweat! 😎 As Chief Recovering Good Girl, I promiseee it’s possible for you! ✨ Go to my profile for more details about this incredible Workshop! 💛 #peoplepleasing #selfhealingjourney #goodgirl #goodgirlrehab #boundariesmatter
