10/10 recommend—but maybe not if you’re afraid of heights because I genuinely thought my boyfriend was going to have a panic attack halfway across the bridge 😂 The main suspension bridge is 450 feet long and hangs about 230 feet above the Capilano River, and yes… it definitely moves while you’re walking across it. Once you make it to the other side, there’s a whole treetop adventure with smaller suspension bridges built throughout the trees, so apparently the first bridge was only the beginning lol. There’s also the Cliffwalk, which is attached to the side of the canyon and is definitely not for the weak! Between the bridge, Cliffwalk, treetop adventure, trails and all the stairs, you could easily walk around 1–2 miles while spending the day there. There are cute little shops, coffee stops and places to grab food spread throughout the park. You can seriously spend hours there and not even realize how much time has gone by. During the holidays they also cover the bridge and trees in Christmas lights, and I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night! It was such a beautiful and family-friendly day. There was so much more to do than I expected, and it was definitely one of those places that is worth the drive and time spent. The only reason I say 8/10 recommend is because tickets are $59 which pretty steep when the zipline isn’t open. #capilanosuspensionbridge #vancouverbc #weekendtrip #weekendtripguide #fyp
