this is actually a huge CDC violation. the cavi breaks down the cotton fibers in the gauze and then the disinfectant gets stuck in the fibers. theres a 40% to 50% drop in disinfectant concentration after one hour of soaking gauze. the gram negative bacteria can actually grow in the jar. if an office is doing this they should be reported 🥲

Never mind a chemical being in a completely unlabeled container but this feels like a dentist office being cheap. Just buy the cavi-wipes. 😶

Temped at an office, the hygienist hated aerosol sprays so she would used cavi-soaked 4x4. One per room. Production side used spray & paper towels.

Also all the wipes in this jar can be contaminated if someone grabs from it with out clean gloves, cavi wipes containers are made to one grab one at a time to help with that!!!!!

My offices uses 4x4 gauze to wipe our rooms and we have to wipe twice. Which I find more sanitary though it is more work. Ours isn’t pre-soaked though lol.
