@sunshinecoastcouncil: Minor flood warning in place with more rain still to come 🌧️ Friday October 23, 2026 2.45pm With rainfall level highs of 200mm in multiple locations across the Sunshine Coast, the Bureau of Meteorology is predicting there’s more on the way. 🚧There's a flood warning for the Maroochy and Mooloolah Rivers. Please stay away from flooded roads, creeks, dams and drains. Weekend ahead: ⛈️ It’s going to get humid with more showers and isolated storms. 💧 Rainfall intensity is expected to ease; however, showers and storms may still produce localised rainfall of 20–50 mm, with isolated totals of 50-100mm. 🌊Flash flooding remains a risk, particularly across already saturated catchments. 🌐 For current warnings, road closures, flood mapping, traffic cameras and emergency information, visit the Sunshine Coast Disaster Hub.
