@therisenproject: I learned one rule as a kid: don't cause trouble. Even when I did things right, I still got in trouble. So I got reckless. I ran. I numbed out. I thought escaping was peace. When my dad and I finally talked, the grudge I lived on was gone. And for a year, I didn't know who I was without it. Looking back, I believe God put every person exactly where they needed to be. Even the ones who looked like they were hurting me kept me pointed toward Jesus. Now my dad is the first person I call. "For those who love God all things work together for good."
