I’m sorry, but the amount of disrespect both of them get is unreal, especially Tatum. No one wanted to see them split up, but everyone knew it was coming. It’s always been 1A and 1B, but let’s face it - other than last season, which was a MONUMENTAL season for JB, JT has been the better player in prior seasons. We’ve never seen a JT without JB, like we did for JB last year. I think JT will settle out and have a stellar year. He got so much hate for game 1, which don’t get me wrong, was terrible. But fucking Brunson and Wemby also had bad games and there was very little media squawk about it. As far as the finals MVP chat who knows, it really could have gone either way with the stats - but JB was the one to lock down Luka so he got the nod. Well deserved. At the end of the day, JB saying that a season that he did not have JT and got bounced in the first round was his FAVORITE SEASON was the start of the breakup. Either way, LFG Celtics ☘️. Fuck Philly (sorry JB) and LeBron is trash.

I legit think between that finals MVP and how JB played last season and had success really bothered Tatum. He’s supposed to be the Kobe heir and people stopped calling him that as much which snowballed into him coming back too early at the end of last season and risking that injury again.
