@candiorr87: I MET JESUS — And My Life Was Never the Same 👤 The Widow of Nain — Before Jesus: I had already lost my husband. Now my only son — my everything — was dead. I was walking behind his coffin, surrounded by mourners, but I felt completely alone. I had no future, no hope, nothing left. — The Encounter: Then I saw Him — Jesus. He looked at me and had compassion. He touched the coffin and said, 'Young man, I say to you, arise!' And my son sat up! And began to talk! The crowd fell silent in awe. — After Jesus: Jesus gave my son back to me. That day I learned that death is not the final word. The same Jesus who raised my son is the resurrection and the life. I went home that day not as a widow in mourning, but as a mother full of hope. 💎 The Word: Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Jesus turns our mourning into dancing. 👤 Simon Peter — After the Catch — Before Jesus: I had fished all night and caught nothing. Nothing. I was tired, frustrated, embarrassed — a fisherman who couldn't catch fish. And then this Teacher, Jesus, got into my boat and taught the crowd from it. I listened — He spoke with authority, not like the other teachers. — The Encounter: When He finished, He said to me, 'Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.' I wanted to say — 'Teacher, we toiled all night and took nothing.' But something about His voice made me obey. 'But at Your word I will let down the nets.' And when I did — the nets were so full they began to break! The other boat had to come help — and both boats were so full they started to sink! — After Jesus: I fell down at Jesus' knees. 'Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.' But Jesus said, 'Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.' I left everything — my boats, my nets, my fishing business — and followed Him. I learned that obedience to His word, even when it doesn't make sense, releases the miraculous. 💎 The Word: When Jesus tells you to let down your nets — obey. Even when you've worked hard and have nothing to show for it. At His word, miracles happen. 👤 The Woman at the Wedding in Cana — Before Jesus: It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life — my wedding. But then the wine ran out. In our culture, this was the greatest shame. I could feel the guests whispering. I was mortified. My new husband looked worried. Everything was falling apart. — The Encounter: My mother knew Jesus. She told Him, 'They have no wine.' At first He seemed to say no, but then He told the servants to fill the water jars. When the master of the feast tasted it — it was wine! The best wine! Saved until last. — After Jesus: My wedding day was saved. But more than that — I learned that Jesus comes into our moments of shame and shortage and turns them into abundance. He saved the best for last in my wedding, and He saves the best for last in all our lives. 💎 The Word: Jesus does great things in our moments of need. He turns our shame into glory and our emptiness into joy. These are not just stories from long ago — the same Jesus who changed their lives is alive today. Whatever you're going through, whatever you've done, however long you've waited — Jesus is ready to meet you right where you are. One encounter with Him — and everything changes. ✝️💫
