@mrkairotruecrime: 🚨 BE CAREFUL IN MATATUS! A WOMAN REVEALS HOW HER SAMSUNG S24 ULTRA WAS REPORTEDLY STOLEN IN NAIROBI CBD A woman is warning Kenyans to remain alert when travelling in crowded matatus after she reportedly lost her expensive Samsung S24 Ultra in a suspected pickpocketing incident. According to her account, she was travelling to Nairobi CBD in a matatu when a man suddenly claimed that he had lost something inside the vehicle. The passengers, including the woman, began helping him search for the missing item. She says she had already placed her phone inside her purse while travelling. However, after alighting from the matatu and proceeding with her business, she checked her purse and discovered that her phone was missing. She suspects that while passengers were distracted by the man's claim, another person took advantage of the confusion to reach into her purse and steal the phone. Her story serves as a reminder that thieves may use distractions in crowded public transport to target unsuspecting passengers. Although the exact circumstances have not been independently verified, commuters should remain vigilant. ⚠️ Safety reminder: Keep your valuables secured, hold your bag where you can see it, avoid leaving expensive phones easily accessible, and be cautious whenever an unexpected incident distracts passengers.
