@ohdpresents.haunt: CRYPTID FILE: The Ape Canyon Apemen. July 1924, Mount St. Helens. Five prospectors said they spent the night besieged in their cabin by rock-throwing, seven-foot "gorilla men." The story made The Oregonian, and the canyon has carried the name ever since. Believer or skeptic, it is one hell of a Washington story.
