Those are Italian Army Puma armored personnel carriers. They’ve been parked at permanent checkpoints around the Colosseum and Termini station since late January as part of Meloni’s Strade Sicure operation. Each vehicle carries two soldiers and stays until after midnight to deter crime in high-traffic tourist zones. So it’s not a military parade or invasion, it’s routine security posture that’s been running for months. The TikTok poster just caught it at night with the lights on, which makes it look way more dramatic than it is.
