A royal barge procession is being prepared in Thailand, with rehearsals and a full-scale rehearsal scheduled ahead of the Royal Kathin ceremony on November 6, 2026. The rehearsals will take place from August through October 2026, followed by large-scale rehearsals on October 21 and 28. The procession will involve around 2,200 Royal Thai Navy personnel and 52 royal barges, arranged into five formations across three lines. The barges will travel along the Chao Phraya River, from the Krung Thon Bridge area to Wat Arun. Members of the public will be able to watch the rehearsals and the royal barge procession from both sides of the river.
