@browneyedgurl801: Roseanne Barr says John Goodman passed on appearing in Meemaw. "It wasn't that I don't want to work with John Goodman again. He doesn't want to work with me," she told The Hollywood Reporter. The two played Roseanne and Dan Conner for ten seasons, starting back in 1988. After ABC ended the revival in 2018, Goodman went on to lead The Conners for seven more seasons without her. Roseanne says she is not in touch with him or Laurie Metcalf these days. In July 2025, Goodman said they had not spoken in about seven or eight years. "Nobody is more brokenhearted than me. I just choose to remember the fun and the good times," she said.
