My children only had one hot meal a day. Their evening meal around the family table! I also support families and I don’t think not having enough money for food or bills automatically makes someone a bad parent. Context matters.

THIS! Adding in my SEN mum, 2 pennies worth. If you have a SEN child who hates teeth brushing so you just don't do it, to avoid a meltdown, you're a bad parent. That's neglect and you need to stop making excuses for neglecting your child's very necessary hygiene needs!
