no need to drop subframe :D remove two subframe bolts that are closer to the battery, subframe will drop down enough to remove those bolt 😀😀😀 in gen1 you need use prybar to pry subframe a bit more, gen2 is easier 😀😀😀

No need to take it that far [Tears of joy] undo the 2 subframe bolts at the side your on about 2 inch with transmission jack supporting it lower it down slightly then the bolt comes out

That is a write off. Never do any work on one of them things, acid safe gloves, drill a hole in the battery and stand back. Watch the junk burn burn burn. Saves on the heating bill.
