reat you and start asking yourself two questions: 1. Why am I continuing to tolerate this behaviour? 2. What am I actually going to do to change it? Because sometimes we become so comfortable complaining about how somebody treats us that we don't actually stop to recognise that we're stuck in the same fucking cycle. And that's a hard pill to swallow. Because Yes, maybe they've hurt you. Maybe they've disrespected you. And yes, you probably deserve a hell of a lot better. But here's the part you need to hear (even if it feels uncomfortable) ••... You cannot control how somebody chooses to treat you. But you CAN control the boundaries you put in place and how much access they continue to have to you. And no, that doesn't always mean cutting somebody out of your life. Sometimes that's not even an option. It means reaching a point where you say to yourself: "I'm actually sick of having the same conversations, complaining about the same behaviour and expecting a different fucking outcome. Something needs to change, and this time I'm going to be the one to change it." Because that's how you start breaking the pattern. Not by waiting for somebody else to suddenly recognise your worth, apologise or become a better person. But by recognising your own worth and making decisions that actually reflect it. Knowing your worth is one thing. Having the balls to set boundaries that reflect it is another. And THAT is what levelling the fuck up looks like and I get it's not always easy! So tell me, did that hit a nerve? If so, then it's time to set they boundaries 😉 #boundries #selfworth
