What's truly sad is that in the end Guo Yufeng did actually win in a convoluted way. Wei Rao will never get back those years she had suffered, and seeing her own mother not recognise her and choose the fake daughter over her. Lady Li will always feel guilty and blame herself and they can never have a true mother-daughter bond because some things just can't be forgiven.
