Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter 🎉❤️ Today marks 17 years of motherhood for me… 17 years of a journey that has shaped my heart, my strength, and my faith. Seventeen years of unconditional love, selfless sacrifice, growth, and transformation. Motherhood is not easy, so today I also celebrate myself — a mama who never gave up. Because truly, nobody knows what it takes to be me. Seventeen years with my first best friend forever. A proud mom of three girls, my favorite trio. Together we sparkle ✨ My biggest blessings in one picture. A love that grows stronger with every hug. No bond stronger than ours. Motherhood made beautiful. Seventeen years ago, while I was still in college, I found myself pregnant. According to my Christian values, abortion was never an option. I chose life. On 15/03/2009, I welcomed my baby girl — the little soul who completely changed my life. It wasn’t easy. The community talked… and talked. To them, a young girl giving birth at her parents’ home without marriage was a shame. The pressure and negativity pushed me into an early marriage. Five years later, I came back home with two daughters. My mother welcomed me again with open arms, even when the community continued to whisper. It was tough. Very tough. But today… today they don’t talk the same way anymore. Now they admire the strength I’ve become. Because motherhood doesn’t mean losing who you were — it means expanding who you are. Today I call myself Blessed Carol. I am grateful. I am proud. I celebrate 17 years of God’s love, grace, and greatness in my life. And one day soon, I will share my full story. Soon I will stand with young women who find themselves in situations like mine — to support them, encourage them, pray with them, and remind them that their story is not the end. Because you don’t just survive motherhood… you can thrive in it. So today I celebrate my daughter. And I celebrate the woman motherhood made me. ❤️ 17 years strong. Today was such a special day. I started the day out focusing on a finish time and once the heat cranked up, I realized that wasn’t going to be an option. I made the best of it and did what everyone said to do, ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF IT!! Thank you everyone again for the encouragement and kind words, it meant the world. I now get to say I am a MARATHONER!!
