I would make it an ornament, see how disappointed they were for years of it hanging on the tree, and 3 years later be like, "wait u still havent opened this?" then show them there was 300 bucks inside 😂

One year my mom raided the pantry for every single box she could possibly find. Jello boxes, cereal boxes, Mac and cheese, anything that was in a cardboard box in our house, gmas house, dad, neighbor, every box got got. Then she took every box she found, had to be close to 100, and stuck anywhere from $1-$10 in each box, did that for 3 kids, and created the most frustrating, messy, christmas day chore inducing, magical christmas with hardly any money or real gifts ill never forget. Ill never repeat it myself or participate in that specific madness....but it was cool for a one off year😂
