Good universities can't have their VCs stoop so low to come and defend the universities they lead on TV. And also not everyone graduates to look for employment. other universities train their graduates in self sustainability and innovativeness. So other graduates for the other universities are busy creating jobs for yours you train to think that after you graduate is when you start looking for a job.

My submission to what you Vc of Vu. 1. unemployment is caused by the some of poor government systems, the jobs in uganda are now about technical know who but not know how. 2. Even when pretty good universities like Makerere universities produce job creator, at the end they will fail, the exorbitant taxes imposed to business starters, the favour of foreign policies like investors compared to our local investors. Even you who claim to be creating jobs for Ugandans you were seen crying over ministerial post to the extent you went to your ancestral graves. You would have rejected that position at the first sight. Having healthy competition is very okay but your method is very wrong by demeaning what other institutions have already contributed towards our country. Makerere university is in its own league, infact you are admire it more, if given a chance to become a Vc of mak, I don't what this time you would do

If Makerere is truly positioned as the country’s premier institution, then the Ministry of Works should not have had to procure a vehicle‑number‑plate tracking system from Russia. A capable university supported by its IT departments and lecturers ought to design, build, and maintain such national‑security software internally. When strategic technology is outsourced, it exposes a gap between academic prestige and practical output.
