I literally already replied to that: so why must that thing be god? Why couldn’t it be the universe itself or some fundamental physical reality ? Why does the necessary thing have to be a conscious god? Like this argument genuinely says nothing because you could put anything as the ultimate first being, it doesn’t have to be conscious god

I think people forget that alot of these famous science people that helped push along theories and developed tools are from societies that believe in a god, gods, spirits, fae, something that was prevalent to a religious part of the time.
