Remember Vince McMahon wanted NXT Nickelodeon to be filled with people without a wrestling background...vs those that were in NXT Black & Gold..So it's not a surprise.

I don’t think that is true at all. Jvon Evan’s and Jackson Drake have been wrestling since they were 10. Maybe younger. They love pro wrestling. I think bucketing all the NXT talent into on idea because Tiffany Stratton didn’t watch pro wrestling as a kid is a wild move.

And yet Kelani Jordan is better than 99% of the women who “loved wrestling as a kid”.

They just sign people with highly athletic backgrounds for stupid cheap. They can train and mold them exactly to their liking without much talkback and feedback a established wrestler would. If it works they make hella money off you. If not they just release you and hire another 20, and the cycle keeps on going.
