Thanks for bringing this ip for dicussion. I used to like the prestige but reconsidering. After high sch we have the same playing field. We go to Uni locally or abroad, same courses, opportunities etc. I look at businessmen such as Nila baby, Modern Pacific and many others and I honestly prefer that kind of ending; where you produce, even export and employ rather than employment. There are many artists and athletes rich due to talents etc. Recently big tech have been laying off. GOK p and p jobs nowadays declare redundancy so employment is not as secure as before. God will guide cos even with money, wisdom is ultimate. I think at this point I would rather 200k per term then the balance of 1m I buy a T bond every semester. That would leave them with millions to start off life after campus say to start a manufacturing plant or sth.

The biggest advantage of premium or international schools isn't just better facilities or an expensive education. It's the exposure, mindset and opportunities.
Children develop confidence, critical thinking, communication skills, leadership, social intelligence and a global perspective. They interact with diverse backgrounds, build valuable networks and are exposed to opportunities they might otherwise never encounter.
By adulthood, these experiences can make a difference in how they carry themselves, express ideas, navigate professional environments and pursue opportunities.
It's not that children in ordinary schools are less intelligent. It's that some children get more exposure, resources and opportunities to practise skills that give them a competitive edge.
You're not just paying for an education; you're investing in exposure, social capital, confidence and future positioning.

If expensive international schooling automatically produced innovators and problem-solvers, society would have far fewer problems. Education should be measured by impact, not fees, accents, or prestige.

Taking Kids to International school is kinda a wastage of Money. If you don't have Money in future after they reach levels of University they become stagnant.

But if someone can pay 1.2M per term don't you think that their parents are already wenye nchi? They are big business people or working at high ranks and probably have connections plus they are interacting with other rich people. It's not rocket science

Lies. Anyone can take their children to an international school. Your thinking is misguided.
What ROI are you talking about when it comes to your kids? Education is bigger than immediate financial returns. International schools can broaden how children think, build confidence and expose them to opportunities.
You may not be wealthy today, but your children could grow up with the mindset and exposure to build their own wealth tomorrow.

When reflecting on encounters with various individuals from international schools during professional hiring processes, I would genuinely prefer to enroll my children in public schools and instead dedicate the leftover funds to fund their education in some of the best universities abroad.
