![Shingen Yamazaki (야마자키 신겐 Yamajaki Shingen) was the Leader (총재 chongjae)[note 2] of the Yamazaki Syndicate and the father of Gun Park. Known as the Tiger Ghost,[note 3] he united Japan's underworld under the syndicate and took it into Korea, where he became the great power that Gapryong Kim's Fist Gang fought. At some point after his defeat against the Fist Gang, he withdrew into a state of lethargy that lasted years.[note 4] He came out of it when his twin brother Shintaro Yamazaki rose against him, killed their father, and moved to wipe out his line. Shingen died holding off Shintaro's men so that Gun could escape. Shingen is dead by the time the story starts. Every appearance he makes is in flashback, chiefly in the White Ghost and Gapryong Kim arcs. . . . 📌«All footage and images from the manhwa belong to PTJ Comics and The Grimm Entertainment.
