Bro, I am not supporting what they are doing by using nails or cables to bypass protection systems that should trip when there is a fault or overload. Such practices are dangerous and can cause serious damage to transformers.
My point is that ECG needs to have personnel within our communities who can respond quickly to electrical emergencies. Sometimes, when a fault occurs, people call ECG and have to wait for days before anyone comes to fix the problem. This delay can encourage people to take matters into their own hands, even though what they are doing is wrong.
If ECG can establish a reliable emergency response system and ensure that faults are attended to promptly, I believe we can reduce these dangerous practices. Otherwise, the same problems will keep recurring, and we may continue to experience transformer failures and burnouts tomorrow. Prevention and quick response are better than waiting for another transformer to burn.

Good advice, bro. My main concern is the swapping of meter faces. I think we need to hold the people responsible for transformer maintenance accountable, because we must treat ECG faults as emergencies.
One reason some people resort to swapping meter faces is that when their power goes off, they call ECG, but it can take up to three days for the team to come and fix the problem. Imagine staying in darkness for three days while waiting for ECG to respond.
If we can engage ECG and encourage them to treat power outages as emergencies and respond promptly to faults in our communities, I believe these practices will reduce significantly. People need reliable electricity, and ECG must take its responsibility seriously.
