Thank you for documenting this. You might like to learn about the new development around Adobe products callled "ArtCraft Apps" (free, opensource no ads). I am not an artist or Adobe expert, but maybe it could be enough for your needs. --- If you'd like to get more details about the error on the Adobe website you could try to check the HTTP response in the Devtools of your web browser. When the "error" happens the server might be actually giving a more useful description of what happened than the generic "error occurred".

I contacted Adobe via the chat and started off by pointing out in the UK the government are investigating their practices around cancellations. They allowed me to cancel.

Be warned... cancelling your card does nothing. Visa/Mastercard/your bank will allow them to continue taking money from your new one. You need to cancel with Adobe. they royally fucked me this way

I managed to cancel my plan, it only took 4 sessions with their support. The instructions on their site refers to a button that doesn't exist 🙃
