I'm tired of losing people I love. I've lost a lot of people in my lifetime and it gets more painful with each one. I had to give my grandmother permission basically to pass because she would not leave thinking that we needed her and yes we needed her but at the point she was in her illness we had to let her think of herself and we had to think of herself and not us so we basically all told her we would be fine just take care of her needs which is to get out of pain and stop suffering and cross over even though we didn't want her to leave. then my daughter passed away years later and yes there was many people in between.

The first of everything is hard. Strangely, going into a supermarket hit hard, G was a real foodie and loved to cook (only weighed 10 stone though). I remember my first time going for a meal alone.... I asked for a table for 1 and the waitress repeated it and looked at me like I was crazy... I rushed through the meal as fast as I could. Fast forward one year later, I booked my first ever holiday alone abroad. Us widows are stronger than we realise! xxxx
