When 24 hour Walmart ended I briefly considered going to space. But they don’t have Walmart there either so I’m stuck going to Walmart on my WAY TO WORK, and putting “perishables” in the company fridge and hope no one steals them or I forget them. Night shift is nothing but a complete mess and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I remember that my mom had to tell people. if you wouldn't want me to call you at 1:00 in the morning. please don't call me at 1:00 in the afternoon if I have to work. As it was she was still getting up in time for whoever was in elementary school to get off the bus. so she was sleeping like 8:30 to 3:00 maybe and there would still be people calling socially at 1:00.

I don’t even care. I shut the phone off. If it’s a real emergency they will call my partner or find a way. My neighbour rang the hell out of my doorbell one day and I said you better have a damn good reason for ringing my doorbell like that. He said my partner was in an accident at work where his hand got stuck in a machine. My neighbour is retired as he’s now an emergency contact.
