Bioware literally hasn't made a good game in like 12 years. Andromeda failed and never got a sequel. Anthem died and had like one update. Veilguard was trash and killed the studio.

If EA was trying to claw money back, I don’t know why they don’t sell IPs they don’t want to invest in. It’s like EA want to get rid of any competition, and letting them go is competition.

i mean, its a buisness, one that pays taxes in the place its situated, games and gaming are a big industry, if they wanted to, they absolutely could keep them alive, hell they could take a loan to buy the company, really the issue is that they sold to EA in the first place. these mega corps buy buisnesses milk them for everything they've got with unachievable timelines and then gut the dev team/studios, its predatory and the only way these studios can avoid it is if they have the capital to continue on their own
