Also, no voting machine is connected to the internet, ever. To hack any of them would be an individual effort per machine, so a virtually impossible endeavor. The body responsible for the machines, as I understand, also invites groups to come and try hack then, so they can know if there is any fragility to the system and improve it. They are not perfect, nothing is, but the voting machines are the best and fastest way of voting.

The "Pilili" (sounds like peeleelee) is something we get as inconic. The mascot is new, we aren't attached that much to him yet. [Tears of joy]

Gabriela, chata profissional :
Not sure if anyone said this but the voting machines have a very satisfying mechanical keyboard with very big keys and great sound design (the pilili that names the mascot is the sound it plays at the end). It’s a very quick but memorable experience

Arthurito :
The sound is, indeed, iconic. Whenever you hear the sound you KNOW is about the elections, or voting or anything of the sort. It's just so iconic and if feels almost empowering to hear it when you are done voting, like you sealed the deal, made the difference! You know?
