ECT SENSOR — voltage varies with temperature Monitors engine coolant temperature. Many ECT sensors are thermistors, so resistance changes as the engine warms up. 🔴 8. TPS SENSOR — approximately 0.5–4.5 V Monitors throttle position. On a conventional analog TPS, voltage typically increases smoothly as the throttle opens. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: These are general reference values, NOT universal specifications. Some sensors use digital signals, different resistance ranges, or entirely different testing procedures.
