On Wednesday, Oct. 21, the 63-year-old Inside the NBA analyst was a guest on Adam Schein’s Mad Dog Sports Radio show. He has said he will retire at the end of this year. Then he brought up Aaron Rodgers, 42. “I’m not gonna bury everybody going out the door like Aaron,” Barkley said. “I’m not gonna burn every bridge and talk bad about all my exes on my way out the door like he’s doing.” He was referring to comments Rodgers made last month on teammate Cam Heyward’s podcast, Not Just Football. Rodgers talked about the end of his engagement to actress Shailene Woodley. Rodgers said he proposed in December and that she took off the ring by March. He also said, “She literally told me ‘I don’t want to be with you.’” He said her version is that he ruined her life. Rodgers is now married to a woman named Brittani. He is widely believed to be retiring after this season, his 22nd in the league. Last month, Barkley said this would be Ernie Johnson’s final season on the show. “Me and Ernie are a package deal,” he said. On Wednesday, the show’s crew reunited for another season.
