It’s a skill issue. I just tried it on my duo. I can almost guarantee what’s going on here is the phone is getting confused from the way he’s holding it and touching it.

that's because you touch the outer screen so the iphone thinks you want to see the content on that screen,If you want to see the content on the inner screen, just fold it slightly without touching the outer screen.
